Originally spawned from a small company called Davidville, I was hooked on what they were creating – what we now know as Tumblr.  Back in the beginning it was just the two of them on one side of an office occupied by Frederator. Fortunately working in the same space and building with them...

Bluetooth controller development?
I just had an amazing idea for a Bluetooth controller. Anybody know about developing hardware? This will definitely sell if it doesn’t exist yet. Contact me if you’re interested… ianfilms at gmail

AT&T + NYC + iPhone
The absolute worst combination in mobile history. I am about one more bout of crappy service away from canceling and moving to Verizon.

andres: Reason #349 I love the Internet (via Ian). Try calling me, I’m sure I won’t pick up… and on the positive side (or negative if you really were expecting to talk), you’ll get a nice surprise.

Amtrack Fail
morningstar: FYI: Amtrack stores your freggin’ credit card number as a login field value in a cookie upon purchase of a ticket (on their horribly out of date, cantankerous, and buggy site). Im assuming the card security code is stored as a password field value. :-/ Order by phone instead! 1-800-USA-RAIL

Google says China licence renewed by government →
morningstar: Google gave no details of the licence renewal… “Our operations in China are completely at the discretion of the Chinese government,” Mr Schmidt has said… The licence renewal is key to Google. Losing business in China, which already has more internet users than any other country despite relatively low penetration, could harm the company’s future growth prospects. And we...
